Enjoying your own Superbowl Tailgate Party

There are few things more uniquely American than the Superbowl tailgate party. Tailgate parties are familiar to most of us as the parties we have in a parking lot before a game, while sitting on lawn chairs and using a pickup's tailgate as a party table. Portable barbecue pits are optional.

While a few of us may be lucky enough to snag Super Bowl Tickets and congregate in the Miami Dolphins stadium parking lot before the game, you don't necessarily have to find a parking lot for a Super Bowl tailgate party. All you need to do is pull your pickups into the back yard and start partying!

Heads or tails?

A tail gate party means food like hotdogs, hamburgers, and snacks, with a beer or soda within easily reach and the music blaring on the radio. Impromptu and engaging, it's the perfect get-together for you and your friends. To get the proper Superbowl tailgate experience, you'll need a well-stoked portable barbecue pit to cook your food on, fine tailgates where you can spread out the makings, and a radio so you can hear the pre-game Super Bowl hype. Hey, why not make a day of it and drag the TV out into the yard? Might as well have the complete tailgate experience and watch the Super Bowl itself from the comfort of your lawn chair!

Party all day long

If the weather is good, why not let your tailgate party stretch out all day? Pre-Bowl, post-Bowl, during the game; it's all Super. Just make sure you lay in enough supplies for the day's activities, because it'll be a shame if the baked beans run out before your party guests' appetite does.
