Super Bowl Tickets
No game is more an event than the Super Bowl, football's championship bowl game. Super Bowl tickets are avidly sought by fans every year, well before anyone even knows who'll be appearing in the contest. Getting a Super Bowl ticket represents a major coup, and most Superbowl fans are willing to pay premium prices; the term "cheap Super Bowl tickets" is unfortunately a contradiction in terms. However, there are ways to spend less than you might on a Superbowl ticket, or at least get the best bang for your buck.
Super Bowl 2012 tickets, PleaseFace-value for most modern Superbowl seats is $500. The NFL distributes them via random drawing to the general public; they're not sold to ticket agents. If you want to participate in the Superbowl ticket lottery, you must send a request via certified or registered mail to a specified address between February and June 1 of the previous year. Only one request per address is allowed. If your request gets drawn, you'll have an opportunity to buy two Superbowl tickets. That's $1,000, please!
![]() Not-so-cheap ticketsIf you're like most folks, you probably won't be able to get the cheap Superbowl tickets the NFL offers: you'll have to buy them on the secondary or tertiary markets. In a sense, anything beyond the NFL drawing is a scam. Agents and scalpers buy tickets from lottery winners, and are more than willing to provide you with a prime seat, as long as you're willing to pay 5-10 times the normal cost of the tickets. If you must go to an agent for a ticket, be sure to get a Superbowl package complete with lodging, tickets, and transportation to the game. It'll cost you between $2000 and $6000, but at least you won't have to deal with scalpers.
Tickets from businessMany large businesses and vendors purchase Super Bowl tickets for their best clients or potential customers. This is an excellent way to get to know your vendors you deal with and make it to the super bowl 2011 event.
