All Aboard For Super Bowl Miami in 2010

 

Super Bowl Miami will be Superbowl 44 and will be played in the south Florida city of Miami.

The Miami Superbowl marks a record tenth time that this city will play host to the most exciting football game of the season.

The home of the Dolphins, Dolphins Stadium, will play host to the game this year for the 5th time, 10 times total with five times at the Orange Bowl. With a growing population, Miami will play host to the thousands coming to game and millions watching on TV around the world.

In addition to the game, fans in the city can take part in the many different events planned around the superbowl.

 

Favorites for the Superbowl in Miami

There are a number of teams who are heavy favorites to play the Super Bowl in Miami and none more than the defending champion Steelers and their opponent from last year the Seattle Seahawks. They will of course have a number of teams trying to beat them and make it to the big game themselves.

In the AFC the New England Patriots are looking to rebound from a tough season and reclaim their dynasty status. The will face a challenge from other teams including:

  • The flashy Cincinnati Bengals with their star QB Carson Palmer and WR Chad Johnson.
  • The hometown Miami Dolphins whose off season moves have vaulted them into Superbowl contention.
  • In the NFC the legendary Giants, Cowboys and Redskins will challenge for the conference title and ultimately the Superbowl.
  • The Carolina Panthers are also anxious to avenge their NFC championship game loss and are healthy and ready to begin the season.

 

If you are interested in attending the Super Bowl in Miami then you need to get your tickets fast. Remember that accommodations are going fast and the prices for tickets will not be cheap if you can get them at all. However, the Miami weather makes it a great place to visit anytime and the atmosphere during Superbowl week will make it enjoyable for any sports fan.
